30th Anniversary Match Campaign

The Colonial Theatre’s Board of Directors proudly presents the 30th Anniversary Match Campaign! Members of the board and former board members collectively raised $30,000 for The Colonial’s general operating fund. Now, they are challenging our larger community to match it, to raise an additional $30,000 by the end of the theatre’s fiscal year – August 31, 2026.

This campaign celebrates 30 years of The Colonial Theatre as a nonprofit. It all started in 1996 when a group of grassroots arts advocates and community leaders saved Phoenixville’s historic theatre by establishing “The Association for the Colonial Theatre”, a nonprofit entity. This bold, ambitious act eventually became the catalyst for downtown Phoenixville’s long-awaited economic rejuvenation.
