Blobfest cannot happen without the likes of you. As we are virtual again this year, we have decided to unearth a few of our favorite contests and usher in a few new ones as well. Please read each category carefully so that we can make sure you are entered properly. 

Miss Blobfest 2021

The Run Out Video Submission

Details: Like last year, we ask that you submit a 30 second to 1minute video of you, your family, your dog, or your dog’s family fleeing from your home. The more elaborate, the better. We love camp, we love costumes, we love camping in costumes. Wait, what? Just give us 30 seconds to a minute of your best. All you need is the camera on your phone. It’s that simple. Tin Foil Hat Competition

Details: A classic from a few Blobfests ago celebrates its triumphant return at last! We need your photos of the best homemade tin foil hats. What is the purpose of the hats, you ask? Well, they keep the aliens from reading our minds… duh. All the hats will be featured in the Blobfest 2021: House of Harris virtual show.

Scream Contest

Details: Another fan favorite that has kids of all ages lining up to compete. We want a video of your best scream. We will judge it on pitch, length, and the blood-curdling effect it has on us.  All the scream videos will be featured in the Blobfest 2021: House of Harris virtual show.

Sci-Fi and Horror Tatto Contest

Details: Keep it clean. If you couldn’t show this tattoo to your Grandmother then we do not want to see it. It has to be from either a Sci-Fi or a Horror movie. We need to keep these tats  family-friendly because the entries will be a part of the show and there will be kids watching.

Pet Costume Contest

All right, show us those cute, cuddly fur balls dressed to the nines in their best outfits. The pet parade was our latest addition to Blobfest and it was sadly absent from last year’s virtual event. These entries will be a part of the virtual show in a video presentation.
