Horror fans in Phoenixville, PA will want to keep Saturday, February 8 free, as Exhumed Films and the Colonial Theatre present Stephen King’s The Stand in full with director Mick Garris (Sleepwalkers, Masters of Horror) live and in person.

Originally aired in 1994 on ABC, the post-apocalyptic series based on King’s 1978 novel of the same name starred Gary Sinise, Molly Ringwald, Rob Lowe, Laura San Giacomo and Miguel Ferrer, and followed the fallout after a deadly plague kills most of the world’s population. Jamey Sheridan starred as the demonic Randall Flagg, one of King’s most enduring villains.

Exhumed Films will present the complete 6-hour, four-part series starring at 2pm with three brief intermissions at the end of each part. Garris will be meeting fans, signing autographs (at no charge!), introducing the film, and participating in a post-show audience Q&A.

Exhumed’s impossibly hard special event poster for the screening (seen below), by Sons of Thunder Studios, will be on sale before and after the show in the lobby.
