Calling all Drive-In mutants in the Philadelphia and South Jersey region, it is time to assemble! On Saturday, May 31 at seven o’clock sharp, everyone’s favorite Drive-In movie guy, Joe Bob Briggs, makes his return to The Colonial Theatre to host a sultry Russ Meyer double feature. “This ‘Indoor Drive-In Geek Out’ is a series I do in cooperation with the American Genre Film Archive, to bring attention to exploitation films that would otherwise be lost,” explains Job Bob Briggs. “This is actually the premiere of the newest installment in that series. I’ll be doing meet-and-greets before, during and after the show. I never leave until the last audience member leaves.”

The party starts at 6pm with a meet and greet in Colonial’s garden suite, where ticket holders can mingle with Joe Bob, obtain autographs, photos, and purchase exclusive merchandise (such as a special poster, commissioned for the event). The epic night continues with a 7pm screening of Vixen! (1968) (the first film to ever be rated X) , featuring a deep-dive introduction from Joe Bob. After the show, he will return for a Q&A and introduce the second feature, Supervixens (1975), slated to screen at 9:30pm. Joe Bob will wrap up the evening with an outro and meet and greet.
