New Masking in the 1903 Theatre

Earlier this month, thanks to a generous donor, we were able to update the Masking (along with the drapes, valence, and skirt ) on the 1903 Theatre’s screen. We’re excited to elevate the viewing experience in this historic theatre for our film programming audiences!

What does this mean, Masking? Masking a film properly enables the viewer to see the film in the proper Aspect Ratio that the filmmaker intended. Check out this (hilarious) video below that explains what the Aspect Ratio is.
