Exhumed Films Presents: The Intruder
William Shatner stars in his most shocking role as a man purporting to be a social reformer who insinuates himself into a small Missouri town to stir the pot of racial tension to a boiling point. Directed by the late Roger Corman, the legendary producer/director of low budget exploitation and genre pictures, THE INTRUDER, is a rare anomaly in the director’s canon: a daring, serious film with a serious social message. Corman claimed it was the first film he ever lost money on, but regardless of its financial success, THE INTRUDER is a bold, dynamic masterpiece that is rarely screened and deserves to be seen. On 35mm. Wednesday, April 23rd.
