ABOUT JULIANA LAURY
Juliana Laury is an artist mother balancing home life in Pottstown and studio life in Phoenixville. She’s been working out of The Upstairs Studio Artists at 209 Bridge Street since 2019 and has become known in the community for her unique three-dimensional artwork using a material called encaustic. She is also an avid photographer and writer, contributing to a weekly newsletter and publishing poems in our very own PXV Art Mag, as well as hosting solo shows in local galleries such as Ravensgate and the now-retired Paragon. She considers herself an “analog soul in a digital world”, and she comes to The Colonial stage with a lecture aimed at guiding others to think more intentionally about the platforms they use and why. During her talk, Juliana will share her journey to stillness and layout 4 concrete tips for initiating change in your own life for a simpler and more grounded approach to work and life.
