About

To inaugurate our partnership with the Phoenixville Public Library, we’ve selected one of the most acclaimed family films of recent years. DreamWorks Animation’s The Wild Robot follows Roz, a service robot stranded on a remote island who gradually learns to coexist with its animal inhabitants and unexpectedly assumes the role of caregiver to an orphaned gosling. Blending breathtaking animation with a heartfelt story about empathy, belonging, and the families we create for ourselves, this adaptation of Peter Brown’s beloved children’s novel proves equally rewarding for young viewers and adults alike.
