About

The rhythms of Havana and Miami provide the backdrop for this colorful animated musical adventure from Sony Pictures Animation, featuring original songs by Hamilton and In the Heights creator Lin-Manuel Miranda. Miranda voices Vivo, a music-loving kinkajou who performs alongside his beloved owner Andrés (Buena Vista Social Club’s Juan de Marcos González) until an unexpected turn of events sends him on a journey to deliver a long-unspoken message to legendary singer Marta Sandoval (Gloria Estefan). Along the way, Vivo teams up with the irrepressible Gabi, an unconventional young girl with a rhythm all her own. Directed by Kirk DeMicco, Vivo mixes infectious music, vibrant animation, and heartfelt adventure into a joyous story about friendship, loss, and finding the courage to say what matters most.
