    The film explores the life and music of Elvis Presley (Austin Butler), through the prism of his complicated relationship with enigmatic manager, Colonel Tom Parker (Tom Hanks). The dynamic between Presley and Parker spans over two decades, from Presley’s rise to fame to his unprecedented stardom. Their relationship and his music are set against the backdrop of an evolving American cultural landscape and its loss of innocence. Central to Elvis’ journey is one of the most significant and influential people in his life: Priscilla Presley (Olivia DeJonge).
