About
Break out your angora sweaters and “PULL DE STRING!” because Matt McGinnis’s Movie Riffing Melee returns to the Colonial Theatre for a special Pride Month event: the world’s first-ever all-drag riff, featuring Ed Wood’s Glen or Glenda! Matt (Mystery Science Theater 3000), Roxie, and two of the most fabulous drag queens this side of the Delaware take on Wood’s outrageous semi-autobiographical film in an all-out showdown for the title of “Movie Riffing Royalty.”
The Film:
Glen (Ed Wood) doesn’t dare tell his fiancée Barbara (Dolores Fuller) that he likes to wear women’s clothes; in addition, Alan is undergoing painful surgery to become a woman; both stories are told by a psychiatrist.
