Holiday Affair (1949)
About
“It’s perfect for those who like their holiday films retro, sweet, and as laid-back as Mitchum.” – Dennis Schwartz
Charming seasonal clerk Steve Mason (Robert Mitchum) catches beautiful Connie Ennis (Janet Leigh) in a fraudulent shopping scheme during the Christmas rush. But when Steve discovers she’s a war widow and a mother, he can’t bring himself to turn her in. His supervisor, however, takes notice and fires him on the spot. Steve then befriends Connie and her young son, Timmy (Gordon Gebert), but will that complicate her plans to marry boring nice guy Carl Davis (Wendell Corey)? We sure hope so!
