Labyrinth
About
“An innovative mix of sophisticated puppetry and special effects, Labyrinth has all the components of classic myth.” – Philadelphia Inquirer
Don’t you hate it when the one not-so-great wish you make actually comes true? In this 1986 classic showcasing the puppet artistry of Jim Henson (‘The Muppets Take Manhattan’), dramatic teenager Sarah (Jennifer Connelly – ‘A Beautiful Mind’) must travel through a magical maze and face numerous obstacles to find her baby brother and save him from the Goblin King (David Bowie) after she (whoops) wishes him gone. Featuring notable appearances by a hospitable wall-dwelling worm, myriad nightmarish puppets, and an especially flatulent bog. This sci-fi fantasy adventure is the last feature film directed by Henson.
